Bryan and Danielle Buxton have had a rough road for a couple. Blessed with their first baby boy, Joseph Thomas, on Aug. 23, 2016 – they found out early on that he had a heart problem and he fought for his life since the day he was born.
After many hospital stays and open heart surgery, the parents were able to bring Joseph home where he could be comfortable and loved. They made sure to never take a second with him for granted, spending time with family and friends and making sure he knew how special he was to them.
Sadly, sweet Joseph didn’t make it to his first birthday. He left this world on Jan. 31, 2017, but Bryan and Danielle made sure their son had more love in just a few months than most have had in their lifetime.
“I thank God for blessing me with Joseph. He was perfect in every way. I am honored he chose me to be his mother. I’m thankful I was able to take him home to love him, kiss him, hold him, celebrate holidays (he was the best Christmas present and New Years Eve kiss I’ve ever had!) baptize him – what a perfect day that was! Even though I will miss him every day, I can’t help but be so thankful. I will always keep him in my heart and take him everywhere I go. I will love him forever.”
And they did. The Buxtons had to move on from their heartbreak, but that doesn’t mean Joseph wasn’t with them every step of the way. The two were married on March 4, 2017 and Bryan made sure Joseph was close to his heart.
It was a beautiful day for the Buxtons who had been through so much. But they say after every storm comes a rainbow, and what happened next will have you believing in miracles.
This year the couple found out they were expecting baby #2! They were so excited for the news that they wanted to share it with family and friends and recruited Danielle’s sister to take some photos. Little did they know, when they received the photos back, Joseph was with them the whole time.
A rainbow circle appeared in Brian and Danielle’s baby announcement photos. It’s as if Joseph is saying he’s right there with them.
There’s no doubt in our minds, he is. ?
