“I’ve cried many times, I’m not immune to that yet,” said Bridget Gilewski, RT(R), RDMS, Ultrasonographer and Owner of Baby’s Bungalow. “It’s extremely rewarding to be able to help people the way I do and bring that experience to them.”
Baby’s Bungalow, 3D & 4D Ultrasound, located at 7293 Schultz Rd, Suite 1, North Tonawanda, is the only elective 3D/4D ultrasound office in Western New York that is owned and operated by a Certified and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Obstretics and Gynecology with more than 20 years medical experience. “When I was pregnant with my daughter I knew I wanted to do something in the medical field, but I didn’t know what. Then when I had my first ultrasound with her at 12 weeks, I said, ‘This is what I’m going to do.’ My brain started going and from that moment on I realized my dream job was to work with pregnant women,” said Gilewski.
But Gilewski didn’t just want to do her ordinary day to day job; she knew she had something to offer women that they might not find at a regular doctor… compassionate care.
“I noticed that compassionate care was really lacking all across the board and I’ve been in the industry for 20 years. I’ve had a lot of things happen to myself and I believe that people deserve to feel like they are being heard and that someone truly cares,” she said.
And that’s exactly what you’ll find at Baby’s Bungalow. From early gender reveals to seeing your baby in 3D/4D, Gilewski and her team want to make sure your ultrasounds are an experience you’’ll cherish for a lifetime.
“It’s such a wonderful thing. People have come from all over Western New York and surrounding states and countries like Pennsylvania, UK, Australia, and Canada to come in for the early gender and 3D/4D, and they bring their families. To know that they trust us means the world,” she said.
And Gilewski wants to emphasize that while there are other ultrasound businesses in the area, she is the only one who has the medical qualifications to perform an elective ultrasound.
“Elective ultrasounds should always be done by a medical professional. I’m very passionate about that,” she said.
