It’s pretty funny if you ask us, when a blog that isn’t even based out of Buffalo gets offended that Bills fans weren’t named the #1 drunkest sports fans in the NFL.
“I’m declaring this entire scientific investigation invalid due to the simple fact that Buffalo Bills fans were not ranked #1 on the list. The fact that they didn’t even crack the top five is simply inexcusable.”
The hysterical post came from Offthemonstersports.com written by Ryan McNeil. The Boston based blog is disputing the recent findings of a new ranking from VinePair and breathalyzer maker BACtrack. Apparently BACtrack looked at data (collected anonymously) from their smartphone breathalyzers during Sunday games this season.
“I will say that perhaps Bills fans didn’t crack the top five due to insufficient data. Imagine trying to ask a sh*t faced Bills fan to take a breathalyzer test? That seems like a good way to get your nose broken. The nerds running the test were probably too worried about their glasses getting broken to even ask.”
For the record, Dallas Cowboys fans led the way with a BAC of .062 percent and Patriots were named second at 0.61 percent, but this writer still wasn’t buying it.
“I’m simply going to have to wait until I get more valid data from a more reliable source. That’s my duty as a journalist and amateur scientist.”
