Buffalo now has the happiest dog in the world and her name is Zella. She’s had a rough life, but that doesn’t stop her from smiling nonstop!
“She really is the sweetest dog,” said Erin Boyd, foster mom. “Everyone who meets her gasps because she is so incredibly adorable.”
Zella was found as a stray in Orleans County with an injured rib and came to Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue where she placed into boarding.
“She had a rough spay surgery and recovered in my home for five days and I took her back in after her adopter returned her two days later,” said Boyd.
As much as Boyd will be heartbroken to see her go, she already has two pets and they don’t all get along. She’d like to see Zella go to a home where all eyes and love are on her.
“Zella is so loving and fond of everyone she has met. Although she is not a fan of cats or other small furry animals, she loves her humans. She loves to snuggle and wants to be wherever you are. If Zella were to have another canine sibling it would have to be a submissive male brother. She is not so fond of her female foster sister. She would also need her parent/parents to be understanding and patient that a very slow introduction to other dogs would be needed along with continued training of her manners,” said Boyd.
Zella is crate trained and housebroken. She loves to go for runs and walks and is working on her leash skills. Whomever adopts this smiling, beautiful, loving girl will be the luckiest person in the world!
