There’s nothing better than seeing women empowering women, which is exactly what two Western New York women strive to do on a daily basis.
Diana Herbert of North Tonawanda is the owner of Empower Boutique, an online and pop up boutique with a mission of making women feel great about themselves.
And then there’s Mercedes Wilson, founder of For Our Daughters Inc. She’s a breast cancer survivor who has dedicated her life to seeing that other women in Western New York are educated about their health. Now the two are teaming up as Herbert has graciously offered to give the proceeds of each sale of a $2 Empower Boutique magnet to For Our Daughters.
“It’s these random acts of kindness that help us continue to do what we do, said Wilson. “For Our Daughters Inc was able to reach over 2,000 young women this years because of examples just like this!”
“I wanted to give out magnets for my business and decided it would be great to use it as an opportunity to do something positive,” said Herbert. “For Our Daughters aligns with the message I like to spread of women empowerment and I just think it’s great that she is actually in there doing it and hands on helping these young girls!”
If you’d like to purchase a magnet with the proceeds going to For Our Daughters, PayPal or Venmo $2 to firstname.lastname@example.org and choose the family or friends payment so no additional fee is taken out of the donation.
