‘Everything Buffalo’ party expected to sell out in get this – Florida!

We all know that many Western New Yorkers travel to Florida to vacation during the winter and get away from the cold weather and snowstorms – but did you know they also like to celebrate Buffalo there?

It’s true!

The first  annual “Everything Buffalo 2018” party featuring Buffalo food, beer, live music, and fun will be held Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the White Buffalo Saloon in Sarasota, Florida. Tickets have only been up for a week and they’ve already sold more than 200! Last year’s event sold out entirely, so event organizer and Buffalo native, Tim Mitten, expanded this year allowing for 1,200 people to attend! He expects this year’s to be a sell out, too.

“Last year the owner goes, ‘Tim, Buffalonians can eat! We counted one guy who came up 13 times to the buffet.’ It was just so great to see people happy and celebrating Buffalo. Many were rocking their Bills and Sabres jerseys,” said Mitten.

Everything Buffalo will feature:

Buffalo wings

Buffalo sauce

Buffalo pizza

Buffalo beer

Buffalo hot dogs

Buffalo sponge candy

Buffalo beef on weck

Buffalo bands

Buffalo-themed auctions

And so much more!

Tickets are $30.

    Thank you for the story:-)
We’re excited with the response and the strong bond Buffalonian’s continue to hold onto even living here in Florida. In addition to the Winter event we host here in Sarasota, we then host a Summer event back in Buffalo to attract everyone to come back to visit and see the resurgence Buffalo has been going through. #GreatCity #Buffalo

As a Buffalon gal born and raised now residing in SWFL, I would love to celebrate my hometown pride with others who understand, if the celebration weren’t on a week night. I’m hoping there will be weekend celebrations in the future! #Buffalove
