For those wondering why HGTV show ‘Risky Builders’ featuring WNYers wasn’t on, here’s the scoop!

We know many of you were excited to see the HGTV pilot for “Risky Builders,” a show featuring Western New York house flippers, Chris and Lorissa Naugle, but when some turned on the channel today and realized the show wasn’t on, they were a little disappointed. So, here’s the scoop!

“Our pilot show “Risky Builders” is currently postponed due to the 2018 Winter Olympics & Daytona 500. The party this weekend will be pushed to the new air date which has not yet been announced. We will keep you all posted. This is best for us because in order to get a pick-up we need viewership. HGTV is doing this in the best interest of our future. Again, the show will not be airing this Sunday at 2 p.m. and the premier party is off,” said the Naugles in a statement.

Basically the bad news is you didn’t get to see the show today, but the good news is you will be seeing it in the near future. We will post another story when we know more.
