Is this your child’s suitcase? A man found it in South Carolina and hopes to return it to owner

A South Carolina man is hoping to find the owner of a suitcase he found at Murrells Inlet in Myrtle Beach on Christmas Day. He thinks it must have fell off someone’s vehicle and the contents belong to a little girl.

“There’s a broken hearted little girl out there… it has everything she owned in it including new things with tags. Please share so we can find her,” Nick Arditi in a Facebook post.

The post has since gone viral with more than 400,000 shares and the owner has still not been found.

“The moment the true owner contacts me and tells me some things that are in it, I will update right here,” he said.

He also said he contacted police who came to his house and inspected it.

“They said at this point my best bet is to keep it on Facebook because if they took it it would just go in an evidence room and eventually be destroyed, he said.
