Little girl whose bike was stolen so grateful for everyone’s kindness that she wants to help someone else!

We told you yesterday about a sweet little girl named Abby who was selling lemonade outside of her home to earn money to buy a new bike because hers was stolen. Stefan Mychajiliw posted a photo of her efforts on social media and asked that everyone support her and then later on he and the owner of Sweet Jenny’s decided to write two checks for $150 each to pay for a new Bert’s Bike for Abby.

Abby and her family were so grateful that they want to pay it forward to someone else. Future proceeds from Abby’s lemonade stand in Cheektowaga and bike/helmet donations will go to Seneca Babcock Community Center to help the less fortunate get a bike this year.

“It’s one of the poorest communities in the City of Buffalo, so we are literally making lemonade out of lemons,” said Mychajiliw.

To make a donation to Abby’s cause, visit or stop by Abby’s lemonade stand by the corner of Cleveland and Birkdale in Cheektowaga after school.
