Niagara Falls firefighters save dog in house fire

We just want to applaud the Niagara Falls Fire Department on a job well done. Today at a house fire in the 1400th block of 18th Street, they successfully saved a dog after a primary search.

According to a Facebook post from the department, the pup was successfully revived on scene using special pet rescue oxygen masks that are equipped on all fire apparatus in Niagara Falls via Wag’n O2 Fur Life – Pet Rescue Initiative.

A big thank you to our local heroes for all they do.

This was my families home. We’re so thankful they saved the pets that they were able to find! Needless to say we lost just about everything but at least we are all safe.
