To many, Officer Craig Lehner was more than just a police officer. He was a loving friend and family member who knew how to make others laugh. He enjoyed life for what it really is and lived each day to the fullest. Here are a few photos that share what kind of person Craig Lehner was – thanks to his close friend.
He loved his K-9 partner, Shield.
He actually named his dog Shield after fallen BPD Officer Jimmy Shields.
He was so excited for his new partner’s arrival that he made an announcement on social media with an Edible Arrangement and balloon that read, “It’s a boy!”
He served our great country in the Army.
He was a member of The A Team.
He stayed close with his Army buddies, aka “The A Team.”
He was crazy about his car – a 70 Chevelle SS.
He once wore this awesome cat tank top to make others laugh.
One of his favorite movies was “Ted.”
He liked to be silly.
He lived life to the fullest.
Most importantly, Craig Lehner put his life on the line every day for us.
