North Tonawanda hair salon stylists are doing what they can to remember a sweet baby who was taken far too soon by the terrible disease that is cancer.
Charlotte Jane was only here on this earth for a short while, but the impact she left in her family’s hearts will last a lifetime. Now her loved ones wish to give back in her honor to a foundation near and dear to them.
HIZAIR Hair Salon is selling paper giraffes to put on display in their window to support CURE Childhood Cancer Association, a Rochester based nonprofit formed by parents who lost their children to cancer and wanted to help other parents going through the same thing. The organization meets the social, financial, and educational needs of children diagnosed with cancer and chronic blood disorders. Charlotte’s aunt, Kristina Waz, will be walking alongside family and friends at the CURE Childhood Cancer Association 5K Saturday, April 28 in honor of Charlotte and they are asking for the community’s support.
Paper giraffes are being sold for $1, $5, and $10 at HIZAIR Hair Salon, located at 85 Webster St., North Tonawanda. All donations will be added in HIZAIR’s name to Team Charlotte’s fundraiser to support CURE.
