North Tonawanda resident and WNY realtor, John Gatas, is on a mission to promote the community he cares so much about.
“I’m a lifelong resident of NT and my family migrated to North Tonawanda from Lebanon, so this city has a lot of history to me,” said Gatas. “Growing up here, going to school here, and now working in this town, I wanted to find a way to give back to my community.”
Gatas decided to create an “Everything NT” video series to highlight all the great things happening in the North Tonawanda community. The first segment launched today with a focus on local restaurants. Gatas interviewed Greg Dwyer of Dwyer’s Irish Pub and Michael Charnock of The Shores Waterfront Restaurant to get the inside scoop about what the businesses have to offer. The next segment will be on things to do in NT like enjoying the local bike paths and parks.
“I want to promote North Tonawanda to the young people who might be moving in because it’s so much better today than it was 30 or 40 years ago. There’s so much to do,” he said.
