Save a mother and daughter’s home: GoFundMe page created by local mother to help them get back on their feet

Ashley Frazier of Amherst and her 7-year-old daughter, Mia, are going through a difficult time right now, so she is putting aside her pride and reaching out to the community for help.

“These last few months have been the worst we’ve had to endure,” said Frazier in a post. “This all started with stress and depression from an injury and losing a job I had for years. I then lost my home due to unfortunate circumstances.”

Having no place to put her belongings and having to stay with friends or a hotel, Frazier rented a storage unit to hold onto sentimental belongings, important documents, clothing, and furniture. Things were starting to look up, but then unfortunately she fell on hard times again and she is unable to continue to pay for the unit causing her to potentially lose everything she has.

“I was getting back on my feet. Got a new job after exhausting my savings and started to rebuild again when I was robbed and then a few days later got into a car accident and had to take my car off the road. Now I’m told my belongings are going to be auctioned from my storage unit. We just need some prayers,” she said.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help this mom and her daughter. Every donation will help, even if it’s small, and if you can’t make a donation, she just asks for prayers that her daughter and her will get through this difficult time.
