It’s “Super Heroes Week” in the Sweet Buffalo Rocks group and Sandra Ponivas of North Tonawanda created a Spiderman rock that’s been chosen as Rock of the Week!
Sandra said she found out about Sweet Buffalo Rocks through a friend who had joined pretty early on. She loves the thought of getting the kids outside, away from the TV and video games. Her grandchildren live out of state and she loves to see all the smiling faces when the kids are participating in all aspects of Sweet Buffalo Rocks.
“I believe we are building childhood memories everyday, and this is just a awesome way to get the whole family involved in something. It doesn’t cost much to get involved like some other things. Looking at the art the little ones created makes me smile, and that’s what this is all about in the end. Smiles!”
By the way, although this Spiderman rock is amazing – Sandra says she’s no artist. “She’s just having fun with rocks!”
