We first told you about the amazing NT Xmas Trailer last year. It’s a group of do-good Christmas carolers who drive down the streets of North Tonawanda on an over the top decorated trailer with lights and a Christmas tree to collect food for those in need. While every year has been spectacular so far, organizers say this year is really going to be one to remember.
“Upgraded costumes, an upgraded float – we went above and beyond from last year,” said Jacob Brosius, who started the event with his friends. “The float is really going to have people going WOW.”
Brosius said he didn’t want to give away too many details as he wants it to be a surprise but he did tell us about something new – landmarks.
“Each scheduled night we will be meeting at a school in each part of the city. We’ll stay there for 20-30 minutes so that anyone who isn’t on our scheduled route can still come and check us out. They can take pictures with the characters or float and even drop off donations for the NT Food Pantry if they want,” he said.
The dates for the XMAS Trailer this year are:
Nov. 27 – starting from NTHS at 7 p.m. for the Tree Lightning Ceremony followed by caroling from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
