A 12-year-old dog is in need of the community’s help.
Daisy, a female black lab, is now homeless after she survived a car crash but her owner did not. A plea for help was posted on Lost and Found Pets of WNY. Here’s the post below.
“Daisy is a 12+ year old, spayed female black lab. She was in a car accident with her owner on October 1st. Daisy survived with mostly superficial wounds, but her owner did not. She is looking for a new home ASAP but will need to find the right fit. Her vision is not great, because of this she can snap at people and therefore cannot be in a home with children less than 13 years old. We do not know how she is with other dogs and cats, so far we have not seen any obvious aggression but we have not thoroughly tested her. She is still healing from the car accident and is scheduled to have her broken tail amputated 10/4/19. Please contact Seneca Animal Hospital at 716-652-6120 if you are interested in adopting Daisy.”
