Sweet Buffalo was created in 2016 by former community news reporter turned marketing & public relations professional Kimberly LaRussa who saw a great need to share stories that made a difference in the world. What started out as a blog, quickly turned into a platform that not only told stories but also found ways to organize kindness & give back campaigns.

Sweet Buffalo has arranged surprise visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus for a boy battling terminal illness, brought Captain America to Roswell Park Cancer Institute to visit a young leukemia patient receiving treatment, held pizza parties with superheroes at Oishei Children’s Hospital for kids battling life-threatening illnesses, had hundreds of birthday cards and presents sent to children in hospitals, worked with shelters and rescues to help several homeless animals find forever homes, created fundraising campaigns and events, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for children, families, animals and nonprofit organizations doing good.
