Battle for Bentley: Community shows support for local boy battling cancer

The Western New York community is coming together for a special little boy.

Four-year-old Bentley Hayden, originally from Buffalo, was diagnosed a few years back with neuroblastoma, a very rare cancer. Since then he has beaten the cancer not once, but twice. But sadly, the cancer returned and now Bentley is in the fight of his life for the third time.

The community has followed his journey throughout the years on the Bentley’s Battle Facebook page and they all felt devastated finding out he relapsed again and had even more set backs recently, so they decided to rally to support sweet Bentley.

#BattleforBentley is being circulated all over social media. WNYers and beyond are sharing photos of them either wearing a #BattleforBentley T-shirt to make Bentley smile or taking a photo holding a #BattleForBentley sign. Bentley loves animals, so feel free to have your pet join the fun!
