It was a great day Monday for 4-year-old Jaziah of Niagara Falls who finally got to leave Oishei Children’s Hospital after 8 months of treatment for leukemia. Jaziah had to have multiple bone marrow transplants, suffered from heart failure, and had to have open window heart surgery. To say he and his mom, Jessica Ferguson, are happy to go home would be an understatement but they still have along road ahead.
Jaziah just spent his birthday last week at the hospital and Halloween. His mother says he is her strength. No matter what obstacles he faces, he still keeps his smile.
Jaziah is her world, but for the most part, they only have each other. Jaziah’s mom is a single mom and being that she is his full-time caretaker, she has been unable work. We want to make life a little easier on Jaziah and his mommy, so we’ve set up a GoFundMe to help them as they continue their journey to get Jaziah better. They spent 7 hours today at Roswell. They are exhausted to say the least. Please consider making a donation to this sweet boy here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-niagara-falls-boy-battling-leukemia.
