Many of us dance as a way to celebrate or cheer ourselves up. But for two Western New York Zumba fitness instructors, dancing is the way to your heart.
Mother-daughter Zumba team, Cindy and Marisa Stani, have raised a whopping $75,000 for Make-A-Wish WNY with their annual Zumbathon and this year promises to be the best one yet.
Usually held at the Tonawanda Castle, hundreds will gather to dance, sweat, and raise money for a great cause. However while the dancing and fun will still be the same, this year the event “Coming out of the Dark” will be held at Daemen College’s Wick Center 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 11.
Besides dancing, the Zumbathon will feature a basket auction, snacks, vendors, balloons, lottery tree, giveaways, and most importantly friends coming together to spend the day making dreams come true for our local Make A Wish WNY children.
Tickets are on sale now for $16 and can be purchased at www.zumba.com/en-US/event/view/make-a-wish-zumbathon-charity-event-coming-out-of-the-dark.
