Beautiful Tayler Woolston of North Tonawanda had her whole life ahead of her. She was taken from this world far too soon on Jan. 1, 2023 at only 16 years old.
Tayler loved playing sports. Her favorite was lacrosse but she also played basketball and softball. She also loved to go camping and fishing.
Tayler was a big animal lover as well. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was known for her smile, kindness and helpful nature.
Tayler was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. The community was deeply saddened to lose her. She will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
That’s why the Touched by Tayler Woolston Foundation was started to help give scholarships to kids. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at Rescue Fire Hall, 1241 Strad St. in North Tonawanda, a Color Cow Run, Basket Raffle and Chowder Sale will take place to raise funds to help local kids in Tayler’s memory.
Since Tayler loved lacrosse so much, last year her foundation was able to gift seven lacrosse seniors with $500 scholarships each. Plus, they’ve done much more with the funds raised to help kids in North Tonawanda enjoy activities they love just like Tayler did.
