Family and friends are mourning the sudden loss of Paiten Pierce, a 9-year-old girl who was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.
Paiten was rushed to Children’s Hospital on Jan. 15 where she went into cardiac arrest and was placed on full life support. She sadly passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25 with her parents, her brother, and loved ones by her side.
Paiten was a fourth grade student at Anna Merritt Elementary in Lockport. The community is now planning a benefit for Paiten’s parents during this difficult time.
A basket raffle for Paiten Pierce will be held 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at Dom Polski Club in North Tonawanda. For tickets call 716-545-6102 or 716-909-9375. Tickets are $20, basket donations are gratefully accepted.
