Local man creates ‘Good Deeds Buffalo’ talk show to lift spirit of others

Jordan Moll-Vigrass, 25, of Tonawanda is going by a different name these days – Jordan James – his stage name of which he hopes to use while he inspires others with his new talk show “Good Deeds Buffalo.”

The idea of Good Deeds Buffalo was started after Jordan lost his mother Margie suddenly to a heart attack in 2019. Jordan made the selfless decision to donate her organs and because of that, her donation helped two people see again and countless burn victims. Jordan and his family received a very special thank you card from one of the families who was a recipient of the donation and the happiness that Jordan felt knowing that his mother made a difference in someone’s life even after her death helped him with his grief.

“I just knew that my mother who dedicated her life to serving the community at places like “The Salvation Army” in North Tonawanda for several years, but most importantly her four boys. Would give the gift of life, when the time came,” said Jordan.

Prior to Margie’s passing, Jordan and his mother discussed the creation of a talk show…one that focused on showcasing the good deeds of others. Jordan decided to turn his heartache into something positive in honor of his mother and “Good Deeds Buffalo” was born. Being a gay man and experiencing bullying in his younger years, Jordan knows the importance of showing kindness and compassion to others. He also created his own nonprofit organization Blood is Blood, which encourages the FDA to seek and implement blood donation policies that are nondiscriminatory towards gay and bi-sexual men after being turned away to donate blood himself.

“Everyone has hardships and challenges but it’s what you do with it that is key. I am fixated on finding people to help inspire others,” said Jordan.

And that’s exactly what Jordan does. He has already invited four individuals on his show who have exhibited compassion for others and gone above and beyond to make a difference. The show is being produced by WBBZ-TV and will air on Facebook, YouTube and television May 2021 (dates to be announced soon). Jordan believes what makes his show special is that he has the ability to make his guests feel comfortable in being themselves and sharing their important stories to inspire others. He even has his guests dance with him at the end of each show!

“I want each one of my guests to feel chosen and welcome, The individuals I highlight go above and beyond for our community and so I want to do the same for them the best way I can with my good vibes and dance moves,” said Jordan.
