Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day and a local man experienced that when he was walking his dog in the cold.
“Many thanks to the police officer who pulled over and handed me a hot chocolate while I was walking my dog today. Your act of kindness was greatly appreciated! A special thanks to all of our police officers who do such a great job every day for us,” said Matthew Schultz.
According to Schultz, the officer got an extra hot chocolate from Tim Horton’s and wanted to know if he’d be interested in it.
“I said that would be great and he handed it to me out his window. I thanked him and told him to have a good day! He said you’re welcome and you do the same!”
