One lucky Niagara Falls family received a free landscaping makeover and it was all for a good cause!
We first told you the story about Rocco Jr., son of Rocco Guadagna who owns Vision Lawn Care and Snowplowing, a few months ago. Rocco Jr.’s dad wanted to find a way to share his story about his son who has Down syndrome but he didn’t know how. So, he decided to have a contest for a free landscaping makeover in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

Well, after several submissions to his business Facebook page posting “We have a vision” to enter the contest, Kelly Mazuchowksi-Schiavulli was named the winner. She spoke to Guadagna and told her what her dream landscaping project would look like and he and his team spent the entire day at her house getting it ready while she was at work. The family has two young boys who will now be able to enjoy a beautiful playground in the backyard and mom and dad can enjoy their landscaping out front.
“I cried seeing it. This is a lot for me to take in and he listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what we wanted and needed and it’s amazing!”
We were actually able to eat outside which hasn’t happened at all this summer because our backyard was a mess. I’m so grateful!”
