We asked our Sweet Buffalo readers to tell us about who they love before Valentine’s Day for a chance for them to win a makeover at Salon Envy and we are happy to announce our more than deserving winner. Here Tammy Belstadt tell us about her best friend, Jessica Kuebler.
“As I sit here trying to gather all the wonderful things about my sweet friend of over 27 years it brings tears to my eyes. This is a beautiful woman on the outside, but even more incredibly beautiful on the inside as well.
Jessica has definitely had her share of ups and downs in her life. As of recent, Jess lost her 27-year-old son to a battle with addiction. She is very open about it and I feel the reason she is, is to make people aware of how huge the epidemic is in the hope that it could save someone’s life. If it were me I would have crawled under a rock and would have turned off the world, but not Jess.
Unlike me she lives each day still taking care of her children, goes to work, and is the first person you can still depend on to be there for you.
Kind, thoughtful, would give you her last dollar. You could call in the middle of the night (which I have), cry on her shoulder, and she will listen and not judge.
She is an amazing mother, grandma, wife…but for me she is my best friend and the sister I never had. Jess deserves this day, even just one day for herself because she would never pamper herself otherwise.”
