‘Rein in the Holidays’ event Sunday to support small businesses, animal rescues

Clyde’s Feed & Animal Center’s ‘Rein in the Holidays’ is back in full swing this Sunday and the goal is to support small businesses and animal rescues!

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at West and Union Streets in Hamburg. Activities will be held at O’Brein’s, Clyde’s Feed, Blue Rooster, BCJ Railway and Kung Fu Buffalo.

There will be horse-drawn carriage rides, a holiday artisan show, santa train rides, kid-friendly crafts and activities and adoptable rescue animals and animal-related demonstrations.

The free event is made possible by Clyde’s Feed and Cellino Plumbing HVAC. The event will bring awareness to the Village of Hamburg’s West End and the businesses alongside it and help rescue animals find forever homes, while also bringing a fun and unique event to the public for free!

“We’ve held the ‘Rein in the Holidays’ event for many years here at Clyde’s and each year it gets better and better. We look forward to seeing the smiling faces of children who get to meet Santa and take a horse-drawn carriage ride and we hope many animals find their forever homes,” said Jim Millspaugh, owner of Clyde’s Feed.

Animal rescues attending include: Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, Ten Lives Club, Awesome Paws, Hamburg Mutts, Queen City Pitties and the SPCA Serving Erie County.
