Severely abused dog saved in North Tonawanda thanks to dog control officer and police

A terrible case of animal abuse has been brought to light in North Tonawanda thanks to a dog control officer and police who received an anonymous tip.

According to her vet, the dog is in really bad shape and will need long term hospilization and physical therapy. She has broken teeth from trying to break out of the cage she was kept in all the time. Thankfully, the owners have been charged with animal cruelty and will not be getting her back.

“Her tail was wagging like crazy as I walked her out of the house,” said Rick Salisbury, the dog control officer who saved her.

This girl wants to live, but without the proper care she might not make it. Please consider making a donation here.
