This year has been a trying time for many locally-owned small businesses, which is why the founders of one of Western New York’s largest shop local events has decided to open their own store!
Building off the success of the Totally Buffalo Festival which brought thousands of people together to shop for the holiday season with unique and talented vendors, the Totally Buffalo Store was born! Considering we cannot congregate in large groups right now, we think it’s awesome that founder Mary Friona came up with another way to support local business owners who rely on vendor events to sell their merchandise during the holiday season.
“As a result of the pandemic, we’ve had to pivot away from the festivals for the time being and re-imagine them in a retail setting. Our vendors are so talented and hardworking – they truly embody the spirit of Buffalo and Western New York,” said Friona.
You can shop from 50 independent local craft vendors at Totally Buffalo Store! Every dollar spent by customers will remain in Western New York.
The Totally Buffalo Store is located at the Sheridan Center Plaza at 3328 Sheridan Drive in Amherst. Starting Nov. 13, store hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week throughout the end of the year. For more information or to shop online, visit http://www.totallybuffalostore.com
