Nine members of Stone’s Buddies were invited to Oishei Children’s Hospital this week to help Buffalo Bills players design cleats for the Bills vs. Patriots game.
Each of the kids designed a prototype cleat for the game. The players then picked the cleat that will be produced for them to wear. Dion Dawkins picked the design made by Francesca Kotowski, a Children’s Hospital ambassador who we recently featured on Sweet Buffalo.
This was Francesca’s design. It depicts her Stone’s Buddies friends hand in hand and the new hospital. The kids will be presenting the cleats on Monday, Nov. 27.
“Dion chose Francesca’s design and will take the kids onto the field. Frank and I are very proud of her,” said Jody, mom.
