The theme of the week was “Nursery Rhymes” in the Sweet Buffalo Rocks group and the “Rock of the Week” was painted by Eileen Dothan Matthews who painted a little teacup!
“At the end of August we had a vacation on Lake Erie and the owner of the house we rented actually encouraged the painting of beach rocks. Well it’s something we have done on previous lake vacations, so we had paint with us. I had recently seen the article in the Buffalo News about Sweet Buffalo Rocks and I decided I’m going to paint a bunch, and start leaving them for others to find because I love the idea of bringing joy to others. When someone says finding my rock made their day it also makes mine.”
