Nine-year-old Max is everything anyone could ask for in a dog, but for some reason people pass him by at the shelter all the time and don’t give him the time of day.
“He never gets asked to be looked at. I don’t know if he has black dog syndrome or what, but everyone seems to overlook him,” said Janelle Harris of the Niagara SPCA.
Max has been with the SPCA since December 2018. Everyone loves him there, but he needs to be in a loving home with a nice owner who will give him the love and attention he deserves.
”He’s been here awhile and needs to get out of here,” said Harris.
Max loves kids and other dogs. He’s not a fan of cats. He enjoys running, swimming, snow and playing catch. He’d make a perfect family dog.
