George Spatz, a U.S. Army veteran and former nurse who resides in Lancaster, N.Y. wants nothing more than to be here for his rescue dog Princess. Sadly since battling Pulmonary Fibrosis since 2007, George now needs a lifesaving lung transplant to save his life.
George is attached to an oxygen tank and his breathing continues to get worse.
It breaks George’s heart because all he wants to do is be free of his oxygen tanks so he can walk and play with his rescue dog Princess who he adopted from the Silver Lining for Pit Bulls. Princess never leaves George’s side and he never wants to leave hers.
George’s best friend Cecelia reached out to to Sweet Buffalo for help so we called our friends at Basil Toyota and Basil Volkswagen who presented George with a check on WIVB News 4 Buffalo as well as gas gift cards to help him get back and forth to the Cleveland Clinic for his transplant.
They also brought Princess some presents as well! By the look on her face, she enjoyed them very much!
