870 Lee Avenue Home Haunt to benefit Niagara County SPCA opens this Friday!

For the second year in a row, local construction company WNY Property Kings will be hosting a house haunt at 870 Lee Avenue in North Tonawanda to benefit Niagara County SPCA and it opens this Friday!

The haunt is a highly-anticipated attraction for the community who enjoys getting a fright while knowing they are giving back to shelter animals. For a few months WNY property King owners and Halloween enthusiasts Kyle and Alisha King thought the family haunt wasn’t going to happen due to the pandemic, so they were ecstatic when they heard the news that haunts were allowed this year and plan to take the proper precautions to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

“We knew we were on a time crunch, as we usually start putting everything together in early August. We pulled all of our volunteers together and worked hard to get this tradition going once again. A portion of our proceeds will go to the Niagara County SPCA to support our love for the animals that need us most,” said Kyle.

During this time of uncertainty the King Family said they will be following all guidelines brought forth by New York State. EVERYONE will be required to wear masks. Volunteers will be temperature-checked prior to working each night and everyone will stand six feet apart in line. If the line becomes full, guests will be asked to wait in their cars until told to approach. If there is a large crowd, time slots will be given at the ticket booth.

“We know this year has been hard for all of us, so we will do everything to allow our patrons to enjoy a great scare while staying safe at the same time! Please help us help the Niagara County SPCA,” said Kyle.

Opening weekend starts at 6:30 to 10 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 9 – Saturday, Oct. 10 and 6:30 to 9:30 on Sunday, Oct. 11 and then every weekend after that until Halloween! Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids. The King Family will also host a “Lights On” day where kids can come through the haunt with the lights on and meet the actors from 4:30 to 6:30 on Oct. 25! A donation of $5 is requested for each group to walk through and proceeds will go to Children’s Hospital.
