A home on Church Street in Lockport is dazzled in lights in memory of Officer Craig Lehner.
Jeremy Antonik, who usually decorates the house with his family every year, lives near the Lehner Family and wanted to let them know he wasn’t forgotten this Christmas.
“We just wanted them to know the community was thinking of him,” he said.
The incredible light display also has a mailbox outside for children to drop letters to Santa that elves take to the North Pole every night.
“We did get a thank you card from the Lehner Family in the mailbox one night,” said Antonik.
He also says Santa reads all the letters and if there’s a return address on the envelope, Santa writes a letter back.
“This is our first year doing the letters, but we’ve had such a good response we plan on doing it ever year now,” he added.
