It’s an exciting time for the Aquarium of Niagara as a beautiful female Harbor seal pup was born on July 13 and now it’s time to name her.
Staff is torn between two names: Dill and Zara. They will be asking the public to help name her by voting in a survey on the aquarium’s Facebook page. The survey will be up until Aug. 10.
“We are so excited to have a girl and have enjoyed watching our first pup in 30 years grow and learn every day,” said Richelle Swem, curator of animal care.
