Chelsea Ellis is a 29-year-old woman from Buffalo who had no idea her life would change forever when she was a pedestrian on the sidewalk in the City of Buffalo on April 15. A police SUV responding to a 911 call crashed into a car, lost control and struck Ellis. She is currently quadriplegic and ventilator dependent.
According to friends and family’s Chelsea is a giver who is always on a mission to help others and now she needs us to help her. A GoFundMe page has been created to assist with medical expenses which are extremely high. A 3-month stay at Craig Hospital in Colorado is $5,000 a day and $55,000 for air ambulance transport to and from the facility will cost a total of $515,000 to get state-of-the-art rehabilitation treatment she desperately needs. $272,245 has been raised so far.
