Clyde’s Feed & Animal Center is hosting their annual Dog Wash Fundraiser to raise funds for two rescue dogs named Larry and Foxy who need lifesaving surgery and are under the care of 7 Hearts Maternity Rescue.
Larry is under a year old and is in need of surgery to repair his heart. He is scheduled for his heart surgery at Pittsburgh Veterinary Cardiology at the end of October.
Foxy is also in need of lifesaving surgery on his heart. He is scheduled for surgery at Pittsburgh Veterinary Cardiology at the end of September.
“We are all animal lovers here at Clyde’s and we always try to do what we can to help them. When we learned about these two rescue dogs and how much they have been through we just knew we had to do something to help save them,” said Jim Millspaugh, owner of Clyde’s.
The dog wash fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Clyde’s Feed, 351 Union Street in Hamburg. The event will feature dog washes for a $5 cash donation, music, raffles, food from Obrein’s Food Truck and more!
Bring your dog out for a rinse and help the rescue dogs get better soon! And if you’re looking for a new best friend, there will also be dogs available for adoption at the event as well.
