A video has surfaced on social media that can only be described as disturbing. Teen girls from North Tonawanda gather on a football field to harass and then attack a teen girl who is alone, defenseless and doesn’t fight back.
We are told by a family friend that the attack happened at around 3:30 p.m. yesterday when a gang of bullies approached the girl and did terrible things to her until two boys saw her and came to her rescue to stop the fight. The friend says the young lady’s family is calling the boys their daughter’s heroes. The boys were at the right place at the right time and did the right thing.
The young lady had to be taken to Children’s Hospital to have her head and neck looked at. She was diagnosed with a mild concussion and possibly whiplash. Now the community is rallying to support her after the brutal attack. The LadyJacks Softball Booster Club are taking up a collection for the girl who was attacked and for the boys who came to her rescue. You can help by sending a donation to @NTLadyJacks20 on Venmo. Here is the post they made on Facebook to help: https://www.facebook.com/100011625875380/posts/1075548506176002/?d=n.
A GoFundMe has also been started by her cousin to help here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/fm5bh-raising-money-for-amelia.
