Preston Miller came home from school last week upset. He shared with his parents that he didn’t get any signatures in his middle school yearbook. His dad knew he had to do something to help, so he organized a drive-by autograph session happening tomorrow so his son would know the community stands behind him.
We shared Preston’s story on Sweet Buffalo and there was an outpouring of love and support. Members of C-Shift and City of Tonawanda Professional Firefighters Local 859 stopped by to sign Preston’s yearbook and 50 high school students wrote notes of encouragement for Preston.
He shook everyone’s hand and thanked them for their kindness. Preston is a remarkable young man with a heart of gold and we were so happy we could make him smile! A “Drive-by Yearbook Signing for Preston” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at 265 Rogers Avenue in Tonawanda.
