Finn, a deaf pit bull, didn’t always have the best life. He was chained outside, alone in the cold, with no one to call his own. Educate-A-Bull then took him under their wing and a lovely local foster was kind enough to give him a temporary home.
“He was super sweet and super smart and was adopted by a great person who has done wonders with him,” said Jeanne Zach, former foster.
That special person was Miranda Smaczniak who has dedicated her life to seeing that Flynn has the best one. The two do everything together, including paintinf Flynn for special occasions.
She says their life together was “meant to be.”
“I was in the process of purchasing my first home when I saw him on Petfinder, I just fell in love with his pictures. I checked to make sure he was still available almost every day for a couple months, and then I went to the dog days of Kenmore event and saw him as soon as I arrived and I just knew he was going to be my dog. I applied that night. He had a really sad past, being chained outside by himself, deaf and alone. His picture from when they rescued him was so sad, it made me cry the first time I saw it. He is one of the happiest, sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. He loves everyone and everything. He is super smart and learns super fast, and soon he will be joining agility classes. He doesn’t know he’s deaf and it does not slow him down one bit. I couldn’t imagine my life without him.”
