Three-year-old Bentley Hayden of Buffalo has been fighting Stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma for most of his young life. He beat it once, but just a little while later after Christmas, his family found out the devastating news that the cancer had relapsed to his skull. Bentley is still fighting with everything he has with his parents, and little brother, Clayton, by his side. After several treatments in New York City, Bentley was able to go back home to the family’s apartment in Depew and his mother went back to work as an CNA. They are doing everything they can to remain strong for Bentley, but sadly, just this week, the family was served with a 30-day eviction notice (through no fault of their own) leaving the family feeling helpless. The only thing that made Bentley happy when treatment was over was turning the corner to see his home and now he will never be able to do that again.
“We feel like we’re living a nightmare that we can’t wake up from. We need prayers that God has our back and will answer our prayers. We can’t take anymore bad news. We’re all breaking,” said Krystal Hayden, Bentley and Clayton’s mom.
We have a Sweet Buffalo Rocks for Bentley GoFundMe page set up for anyone who would like to make a donation to help this family during their time of need. All donations will go to Bentley’s new home. www.gofundme.com/sweet-buffalo-rocks-for-bentley.
