Two Buffalo roommates were taken aback yesterday evening when they witnessed a dog being thrown out of a silver truck on Chandler Street in Buffalo.
“We were on our way to Wegmans when we saw it happen,” said James Cybulski. “We couldn’t believe it.”
Cybulski and his roommate, Andrea Sutliff, quickly came to the dog’s rescue. They put her in the car and drove her back to their apartment to take care of her.
“We gave her a bath three times to remove the feces from her hair. She wasn’t hurt, just very neglected and scared,” said Cybulski.
But while this story seems very sad, there is a happy ending. When asked if they plan on finding the pup a good home, Cybulski and Sutliff, both animal lovers, said the dog is welcome to stay at theirs.
“As long as she gets along with our other pets, she’s welcome to stay,” said Cybulski. “We think we will name her Piglet.”
