Two local K9 heroes, Apollo and Haso, are credited with finding two elderly individuals who lost their way Tuesday, July 18.
Apollo and Haso are part of the Erie County Sheriff’s Department. She was found in good health and was reunited with her family after a 40-minute search.
On that same day at 10:15 p.m. in the Town of Clarence, a 79-year-old male was reported missing along Hedgewood Drive. Deputies Klemp and Arney, and Deputy Lundberg and his canine partner, Haso, were able to located the man in less than 15 minutes. He was also found in a wooded area in good health, and deputies returned him home.
Great job, K9 heroes!
