We could all use some good news right about now so here is your Sweet Buffalo news of the day! Two baby penguins were born at Aquarium of Niagara.
The Humboldt chicks were successfully incubated and hatched at the aquarium, the first successful hatching since 2006!
The chicks will remain in the nest with their parents, Blanca and PJ, for several weeks and are expected to grow rapidly. It is currently breeding season for Humboldt penguins, so staff is hopeful to welcome more chicks in the coming weeks.
This is a very exciting occasion for Aquarium of Niagara! Congratulations to the proud penguin parents.
