Happening today: Laps of Love to benefit Make Lemon Aide for Cerebral Palsy

Our friends at the Make Lemon Aide Foundation for Cerebral Palsy are hosting their awesome annual event “Laps of Love” today to raise awareness and foster acceptance of community members with CP while also providing the most medically advanced opportunities and therapies possible.

The event is being held today June 12 at Outer Harbor Buffalo. Organizers say today is all about love, shining light and celebrating their cerebral palsy family. While the event is a 1-mile walk & 5K run, you don’t have to run to have a good time. You can stop by the event today and get your hair braided, have some lunch or ice cream, enjoy a refreshing drink at the lemonade stand, meet superheroes, get a massage, enjoy a magician & so much more!

Their goal is to raise $30,000 to support Make Lemon Aide’s therapy grant program that expands access to the First Step Recovery Model.
