Poor Sophia. She really is just as sad as she looks in this photo. Sophia was rescued from a basement where she was kept in the dark for quite some time without food, water, or any human interaction.
Her situation was labeled “grave” and volunteers at Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue say it’s a miracle she made it through the night. They are now asking for the community’s help in saving her.
Doctors think she may have parvo and she will be receiving fluids and nutrition while hospitalized.
