Four friends were on a snowmobiling trip when they spotted a deer stuck in a fence and immediately came to the rescue.
Here’s the story.
On Jan.20, Bill Halcomb, Brandon Werth, Dave Mangus and Ted Wirth were snowmobiling in Chautauqua County.
“We had just crossed the street and saw this young deer stuck in the fence,” said Halcomb. “Ted immediately jumped off of his snowmobile and hopped the fence to help. Brandon is a captain for the North Tonawanda Fire Department and Dave is a Lancaster EMT, so they immediately sprung into action. We were so happy that he was not hurt and jumped the fence again! It was a beautiful day down there and we were happy to help.”
