All it takes is one little act of kindness to brighten someone’s day and that’s exactly what happened at Sun Cuisines in Williamsville last weekend.
Sandra Block said her husband told her son (who has autism) to run in and get a take-out menu from Sun Cuisines. They even practiced it in the car. Her son went in as he was told, but her husband was waiting and waiting for him to come back. Wondering what was taking so long, he went inside the restaurant only to find his son sitting at a table enjoying a hot meal.
“Apparently he told the hostess ‘I’m hungry.’ So she sat him down and asked what he wanted to eat and he answered “beef.” She told her cooks, ‘hurry, this boy is very hungry,’ and made him a beef curry with rice. She said that he was so sweet she was planning on letting him eat for free.”
Block found this kind act so heartwarming that she decided to make a post on social media to thank Sun Cuisines. She would also like the community to send her thanks to them for their kindness and for treating her son like family.
It’s the little things in life that make a big difference.
